As flora and fauna are great sources of inspiration for textile artist Bettina Willnauer, we’ll be bringing lots of nature’s color and vibrancy into grey November, and the creation of our very own wall carpets.

In this workshop, you‘ll explore the process of tapestry making with a tufting gun — from sketch to tufting, shaving, gluing, and finally creating the finished wall piece. You will have the opportunity to try different tufting machines, discuss their differences and learn about the various materials Bettina uses in her works.

Everyone will be able to tuft a small piece of wall art (approx. 15x15cm) to take home. While two people can tuft on the boards under Bettina's guidance, others can sketch, select colors, shave their pieces, apply glue etc.
